Due to ongoing expansion we have an opening for a Social Care Leader
in County Cork.
Upon application for this post the applicant must have a minimum of a
level 7 qualification in Social Care or another relevant equivalent.
The following relevant equivalent qualifications must be at a minimum
of a level 7:
* Nursing
* Psychology (Level 8)
* Teaching
* Social Science
* Youth & Community
* Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
* Social Work
* Counselling
The ideal candidate must also hold a minimum 3 years? experience
within a residential setting working with young people with
challenging behaviours and have excellent interpersonal skills.
SOCIAL CARE LEADER ? CO CORK ? IMMEDIATE VACANCIES
The role of the Social Care Leader (SCL) is to work directly with the
Centre Management Team to assist in ensuring the day?to?day
management of the residential centre. The SCL will retain an integral
practice role and ensure that the highest quality of care is provided
to young people. The role will encompass administrative duties as well
as responsibilities pertaining to the progression and practice of the
staff team and the implementation of Placement Plan objectives for
young people; ensuring that they are receiving the agreed quality and
quantity services. The SCL will be accountable for the centre
functioning in the absence of the PIC or the Deputy Manager
(DM).
